RIG Issues Formal Response to DCMS Digital Britain Report
Posted on 5th March 2009
The Radio Independents Group has made a formal response to the government's Digital Britain report. The report outlines the plans for the development of the UK's digital knowledge economy, and RIG believes strongly that the UK's radio indies should play a central part in determining and shaping this future. RIG is lobbying for indie access to commissioning and programming opportunitis, the provision of new radio services within the scope of the proposed new PSB, and radio indie rights protection in the new digital economy.
